‘Tis (almost) the season to be Jolly…3
I may be jumping the gun a bit given that it isn’t even December yet, but I think it’s time to start getting in the holiday mood (in Singapore, I bet holiday decorations have been up at the shopping centers for months 
). It’s less than 4 weeks till my holiday starts, my Christmas shopping is already complete, summer is arriving, and it’s only 19 days until Jackie arrives from California, so there are lots of reasons to be in high spirits!
For Christmas, We (the family and Jackie) are going to Bali for 10 days to do some relaxing, and diving before heading back to Sydney in time for New Year’s Eve. Pete (my cousin) and Rach (their blog) will also be in Sydney so We’ll all have a lot of fun I’m sure!
Since my last post at Halloween, I’ve been working quite hard at VeCommerce, but also partying hard. A friend of mine from school, Alicia, has been visiting for the past 2 weeks. It’s been great catching up with her after quite a few years although its meant that I am feeling a little tired to say the least! We had a lot of nights out both in the city and at people’s houses, as well as a competitive night of beer pong (and swimming, but that’s another story…) at my house. It was also Sonja’s 21st on the weekend as well as Asti’s 23rd (Happy Birthday to both of them) so I had even more excuses to avoid sleep! This weekend I’ve got another 21st to go to which will be fun, but I think I’ll be having a few quiet nights before then.
In between all the relaxing, partying and working, I’ve applied to BCG (Boston Consulting Group) and have been offered an interview at the end of January which I am quite excited about. I’m also in the process of picking a thesis topic for next year so all in all, my life has been quite busy!

ps. On a completely seperate topic, some of you may have noticed that the url of this blog has changed. It’s now running on the home server instead of on Jumba’s free hosting plan. Jumba decided to suddenly stop their free hosting! Fair enough I guess since I wasn’t paying for it, but still annoying since I had to migrate the site back to the home server! http://benbuchanan.homedns.org will therefore be the url for my blog from now on.
